About the Role:
A PR & Communications professional for WinZO will be responsible for contributing to building a strong brand public image in the editorial space. We are looking for an experienced communication professional to drive the PR charter as part of our dynamic and growing team. We are looking for a self-driven individual who understands the media environment, and is enthusiastic about startups, innovation and tech. You will be working in a fast-paced environment which will require you to take initiatives with complete ownership, manage multiple projects, and drive execution with stakeholders.

What you will do:
• The role requires managing proactive and reactive communications, including content development, regional and national media relations.

• We want someone who is passionate about communications, is an outstanding writer, and has a proven track record in both quickly and adeptly handling editorial campaigns to drive meaningful media stories.
• You will be responsible for managing media queries from top-tier outlets from across the world, as well as executing high-impact campaigns for WinZO.
• Develop and execute communications strategies and initiatives to support the company’s vision and marketing strategy, across markets.
• Interface, consult and collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams across the company, both, like Product team, Marketing, Advertising etc.
• Prepare briefing materials and manage executive spokespeople.
• Drive positive stories across a broad range of media to position WinZO as a tech focused organization, in the online and offline media platforms and respond to media queries.
• Support and manage the creation of press materials and customer/partner reference programs and organize press briefings, media sessions, and events, as required.
• Have a good understanding and knowledge of the media landscape.
• Conceptualise content for social media channels from an employer branding perspective

What you should have:

We’re looking for people with a hustler mindset, who are curious, eager to learn new things, with a passion for innovation, and work to be a little better every single day. This is not solely based on whether a candidate has previously done similar work or not. We’re looking for someone dynamic with below qualities in generous quantities to perform well in this role -
• Minimum Bachelor degree, Post-Graduate or professional degrees preferred.
• 3-7 years professional experience in the tech/ startup industry (PR agency or on the client side)
• Good English with exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Capability to research and contribute content towards narrative building.
• Attention to detail, and ability to appreciate nuances associated with external communications.
• Strong intent and ability to keep yourself updated on developments in the startup ecosystem by following all forms of media, and keeping ear close to the ground
• Excellent content strategy and content development skills.
